For the onsite interview, I first met with the CEO/founder and VP Engineering. They talked to me about the company, it's history and mission. Having this first helped me to relax a bit and it was nice to know more about the company rather than just what I had read. The interview took about 5 hours total from approx 9am-2pm including a lunch with the team just to chit chat. The other rounds consisted of about 45 minutes alone to do a couple programming questions on my laptop. I had a choice of 4 questions and could pick two from them. I emailed the answers but there was no further discussion about it in my interview. The interview following that, I was asked about one of the questions that I didn't do and walked through it on a whiteboard and discussed the pros and cons. After that, I interviewed with a couple more people that was mostly questions about my work history and experience. After lunch, I met again with the VP Engineering to talk a bit more about the company and what I was looking for as well as any more questions I had. I received and accepted an offer from Chartio so it goes without saying that I enjoyed the process and the people that I met.
