Christian's Tailgate interview questions

The interview process was simple, and direct. I was hired because someone referred me, and worked there as well. The managers were friendly and to the point. They wanted to make sure I had experience and asked what kind of hours I would be looking to work. My schedule was flexible at the time which I believed worked for everyone.

The lady I interviewed with began the interview by telling me that she did not include my name in the emails sent to me because she could not pronounce it...okay. I taught her how to pronounce my foreign name. She then made an insensitive reference to my name, before calling it funny. She proceeded to tell me that I would not fit in with the staff members at the heights location because I am too well-spoken (I am black). She said that she would refer me to the midtown manager because the manager there appreciates diversity.
