Verbal essay question after essay question..."Tell me a time when..." "Describe a situation where..." "How did you deal with..." "What if this..." "What if that..." Exhausting. Hour and half of trying to think of a situation and answer it on the fly. Barely questioned me about my skills. No pleasantries, no personalities. Tons of those cheesy 'inspirational' posters and notes posted everywhere about "the customer". No one seemed happy. I was interviewed by one person employed just 10 months, and another just 3 months. They sat there listening like robots, just staring, giving only the rare word or two in response. OH, and NatGeo magazines in the lobby...the most recent was from 2007. Just seemed like a dreadful place. Very, very bad impression.

Over text. Not what I was expecting. It was a short interview with only eight questions - and it did not take long for them to get back to me. I answered them all diligently and they offered me a job within an hour.
