      Advanced Management Partner Interview

      Sep 1, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Denver, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Denver, CO) in Jul 2013

      Interview

I applied online and received a call about an hour and 15 minutes after I applied. I had a phone interview the next day and was called back about 10 minutes after the interview ended to see what my availability was the next week for an in person interview. I went to the interview expecting 1-2 interviews and ended up doing 4 interviews the last one being with the Group Vice President. I found the interview process straight forward with all the questions being in the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format. I spent about 6 hours doing research on the company so I would be informed and wasn't asked a single question about the company. Not sure if my experience is unique or not but I'd advise always spending time researching a company you're going to interview with. Despite not being asked any questions I was able to incorporate some of the company research into my answers and I know I surprised one of the interviewers by being able to quote their principle objective word for word during the interview. Cintas uses a process called meticulous hiring and I think it helps them weed out people and only hire the best folks. The process gives both them and you a good look at the company so that you'll be able to know if you're going to be a good fit for them and them for you. The entire process took about 2.5 weeks as it was a week between my initial phone interview and the in person interviews. The day after the in person interviews they asked for my references and that took a couple days. I received an offer a couple days after they closed out my references and then had to take a drug test and have a background check before I started employment.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

All questions were based on STAR. Tell me about a time you had to sell something? Tell me about a time you disagreed with your boss? Tell me about a time when you had a difficult co-worker? Each interviewer has a standard list of questions that they have to ask you. All in all if you prepare for the interview and have already written your resume in the STAR format you'll be fine.

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Denver, CO) in Jan 2025

      Interview

The interview process was lengthy and involved multiple steps, but there was little communication between each stage. Long gaps of silence made it unclear where I stood in the process or what to expect next, leading to uncertainty and frustration.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Oct 2017

      Interview

This on site interview provided a very thorough look in to the day-to-day responsibilities of the General Manager. All of the partners were very friendly and the company presents unlimited potential to promote.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cintas (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2016

      Interview

The interview process is very in depth and selective. I am currently on my 5th total interview and still going. The interviews are fairly straight forward and follow the STAR method. Be prepared for a lot of these questions and have plenty on past experiences ready to pull from.
