I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Civil Service United Kingdom (London, England) in Feb 2019
Interview
A series of online tests, including the e-tray email simulation as well as a video interview. Finally an assessment centre with three main tasks, an individual computer based task, a 1 to 1 mock meeting, and a group debate.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No actual interview questions at assessment centre, but one video interview asked about working as a team, meeting deadlines, overcoming unforeseen problems etc.
Largely tests your knowledge of A-level economics so you best brush up on that, especially if you're someone like me who struggles to recall key terms and concepts. Will generally focus on policies to deal with market failures so review topics with this in mind.

The interview was split into 3 parts, a Maths test, testing my economic knowledge and more about myself.
Make sure that you prepare more than just learning A Level Economics as one of the maths questions was on something I was learnt in second-year uni.
