I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CoinTracker (New Delhi) in Apr 2025
Interview
Interview process was really long. Took 2 months to give 7 rounds. I believe they lean on candidates who have other offers. They generally don't give feedback. I asked feedback after 5 rounds and it was positive but still was rejected after 7 rounds. I believe it's a massive time waste for a candidate.
Following rounds were there -
1. HR screening: typical round
2. Assignment: build similar cointracker system
3. Tech round (based on assignment): system design round. But interviewer was not opened to solve for a scalable systems rather focused on the solution based on scale they are playing.
4. Eng. Manager: typical behavioural round
5. Product manager: similar to 4
6. Head of engineering: similar to 4&5
7. Co-founder: similar to 4,5&6

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CoinTracker in Apr 2024
Interview
long process that will take about a month. First an HR Interview, then a technical interview, then a take-home that will take 4+ hours, followed by a presentation on that take home, then more interviews with hiring managers. Even if you spend about a month in the process you won't get any feedback if you get rejected. The take-home had a portion where it mentions it should take 2 hours, and another where it should take 4 hours. During the presentation the interviewers will be wondering why certain features weren't implemented that would not be possible given the time constraints. The interview process is a massive waste of time with no detail on what went wrong, and no clear indication of what the company wants.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CoinTracker in Mar 2024
Interview
Interview took about 6 weeks - started off with a LeetCode style tech screening, after that I had a large take-home assignment that takes about 4+ hours. Following the take-home assignment, there will be a demo session. After passing the take-home assignment, there will be another round of LeetCode and Systems Design. The final interview will be with managers.
Didn't get any feedback after the long interview process, so I was kept in the dark regarding what went wrong. Complete waste of time
