I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at College Chefs
Interview
I spoke with someone from human resources to do a quick overview of my resume and talk about my backgrund. After that I was contacted for a more in depth interview with one of the companys regional supervisors. I was asked some specific culinary questions that I wasnt expecting at first. Once I was able to gather my thoughts and about 1/2 way through my answer the person cut me off and told me that they could tell that I knew what I was doing and knew how to cook. Then we moved on to other specific questions about how to and various cooking "science" stuff. I was very much being quizzed on my cooking ability and mustve answered the questions well bc they called me back for another interview.

Question 1
I was asked to come up with 3 menu ideas which should not have been difficult but caught me off guard at first. I stalled the interviewer pretty good I think asking for more specifcs in what they were looking for which allowed me to gather my thoughts.
The inverview with the recruiter was very relaxed. I had a second phone call with the regional person. Final interview was done through Zoom. They answered all of my questions and relayed the job expectations very clearly.
I applied online. I interviewed at College Chefs (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
It was a brief telephone interview. The recruiter outlined the company mission very succinctly as well as his personal commitment it. I found the experience easy going and relaxed.
