Concord interview questions

Candidates are asked to complete an extensive assignment, which is a proposal for the company's own product. It's essentially doing product explorations for free, which is unscrupulous. This assignment is at least 12 hours of work, which is asking too much of candidates and exceeds what is needed to see their process and work. My suspicions were confirmed when I worked on designs from my own interview assignment once hired. It really lacks integrity and was a poor way to start at a new company.

The interview had three parts. First, we talked about my background with a recruiter and how I fit with the company. (She did a great job by the way) In the second part, we went deeper into my skills and how I handle different situations. There's a final part with a practical task related to the job. It's a hands-on test to show what you can do. There were lot of questions on past experiences that were similar to what they were looking for. It was a good way to talk about my skills and show what I can bring to the team.
