Me @ 10:30 A.M.: Hi Ace, any day at 11:00am works perfect. Them @11:19 A.M.: Can you do 5/9 at 10:30 A.M. Me @3:25 P.M.: Hi, yes that is perfect. - i sent another message on 05/15 @10:19 A.M. Me: Hi, I notice I hadn't received a call from you all. Am I still a candidate, is there anything else I would need to do on my end ? Them: Hello we did not schedule you yet for an interview, you responded to us 4hrs after our message. Can you do friday at 9:30am? Me: Could I have you last name Ace? - Actually, don't you worry about it. No, thank you for the interview. I responded at the time in which I was available. The most professional form of contact would be email. I would not like to work for you all anymore. They proceed to respond with: I asked you at 11:19am if you're free on the provided date then you responded after 4hrs , hope that clarifies your concern. (I copied and pasted my message from above and asked for them to refrain from sending any additional texts) The 4hr gap was, funny enough, due to my having to get the back of my phone replaced. Left my phone there to be fixed, hence my not responding for 4 hours. However the above is not of the employers concern. I responded to a potential employer at the time in which I was available to respond. Huge red flag for what is to possibly come from working with them. TERRIBLE.
