Applied for role after noticing it had been posted and reposted since around September/October 2025. The process started with 2 separate recruiter screening calls, each about 45 minutes to an hour, which felt somewhat redundant. Then had a conversation with Chief Ops, who mentioned the role was part of an effort to expand their partnerships and that they had not yet found the “right fit” despite interviewing many candidates. While the conversation itself went well, hearing that raised some questions about whether the company has clearly defined what they’re looking for in this role. Next, I spoke with Chief Sales, which was the most productive conversation in the process. She seemed to clearly understand the value of partnerships ecosystem alignment and sales. The final step was a panel interview with 3 executive members. This is where the process felt more challenging, as it appeared there was some disconnect across departments regarding how partnerships, ecosystem strategy, sales alignment, product, marketing, etc, all work together. After that interview, which lasted over an hour, received no communication from the recruiter. Despite sending a couple of follow-up emails, I never received a response or update on the status of the role. Overall, the experience gave the impression that internal alignment within the hiring process could be improved, and that candidates who invested several hours over multiple weeks/months would benefit from at least an email update to acknowledge their participation.
