      Social Media Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Customer.io in May 2026

      Interview

I was reached out to by someone in Marketing at this company. She sent me a message on LinkedIn. I gave her all my info and email; she scheduled an interview, and then 2 hours before the interview she cancelled and told me she'd be out of office all next week and would reach out to reschedule. She never did. So I very politely followed up a few times over the last 2 weeks; she never responded—that is, until I let her know that ghosting me when you reached out to me and posting publicly on LinkedIn while ignoring my emails is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. Then she replied and said, "That's not the experience I want anyone to have, especially in this tough job market." Well, ma'am, that's the experience YOU created. At least now I know what kind of people work at a company I've never even heard of.
