I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DTE Energy
Interview
Very simple interview process for interns. I had one phone interview where I was asked the typical "tell me about yourself" + 5 STAR related questions. All of the STAR questions were very generic, google a list and practice those and you'll be good to go. After that, I asked a few questions about the company/DTE. I was offered the position the next day. My advice would be to definitely try to incorporate a STAR answer/describe a job you had with safety under any definition of that word. When you think DTE, think safety. Or even just mention how important that is to you. Prepare your STAR answers ahead of time, practice your responses, and you will have a great interview. Also, from the time I applied for the position to the time I got the offer was about 3 months so be patient with the process.
