Interview
I'm sorry to say that, but it was a really bad interview due to the following: the HR representative phone call was taking place in some really noisy environment, I could hear laughter, giggling, people talking over each other. The HR person was clearly distracted herself, I had a feeling that she was reading from some sort of script, she wasn't particularly interested in me and how could I fit in with my current experience. She asked me questions that any person from different industry would struggle to answer, so what was the point of the interview? Then she got impatient, which was "palpable", her tone of voice had changed and I don't think she realises how many clues one can deduct just from the conversation. Let me correct it was more interrogation than conversation. She cut it short saying she needs to rush to a meeting and I've never heard anything back. Fair enough - I may not be a suitable candidate, you may not feel like you like me - hell! you don't have to like me, but it's very unprofessional to be so obvious about it and everyone deserves respect. I've invested my precious time into this process and frankly - I regret it.

Roobox - what is the risk for the restaurants to consider this option?
I applied online. I interviewed at Deliveroo in Mar 2026
Interview
Stay away from this company - completely bad experience with the overall process.
1st screen via phone with HR in January - passed
after weeks asked for 2nd step with direct manager for the Area - passed
asked for 3rd round with AM peer - this step was supposed to be a case study for AM, turned out to be a case study for a sales rep with focus on converting lead into customer. not sure on the scope.
after 1 month asked for 4th round with regional director - this was the worst interview of my professional life. Started the meeting by saying that it was very bad to have a meeting on Friday afternoon (wondering why Deliveroo asks to set up the preferences so that the other can match the best one). The guy has been smoking his IQOS all the time, asking generic question with evident no interest at all to my answers. No link at all to the previous cycles. He asked me if I had questions stating that it was not important if I had none.
Closed the interview after less than 30' with the clear feeling that I wouldn't join a company that nominate this kind of regional director.
The HR then informed me that I didn't pass the 4th step.
All of these informations have been passed to the HR rep. during the feedback call.
I was invited to the screening call with the recruiter. The recruiter Charlotte was nice and responsive. I didn't move to the next stage as they can't sponsor work visa for my level. But it's a good experience and the package should be the best among its competitors.

Interview
Sono stata contattata prima telefonicamente, poi abbiamo fissato un meeting. Colloquio buono e ho avuto una bella impressione. Avevo esperienza nel marketing e per fare il passaggio ad account ci vogliono ulteriori esperienze e skills.
