There were two rounds, the first one is HR questions. The second round is real suffrance, the tasks are super unclear and you don’t even get what they want feom you. I worked very hard and made a bonus presentation. The model was very robust and I explained everything tangibly and clearly. The team were impressed and kept throwing me flowers and compliments of how solid and convincing my work was, especially that I ve done more than required. It was a Wednesday and they promised to get back to me by the beginning of next week. 10 day later no news, then at my surprise they send me an automatic message to decline my application. I was really hurt and find this unprofessional. At least when someone makes efforts to work on an end-to-end Project, and present it for almost 2 hours, then it would be convenient to call them and explain why they weren’t retained. The company doesn’t even know if they want to have a data scientist or data engineer.
