Question 1
Can you/Are you willing to take a skills-based competency exam?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dining Alliance (Waltham, MA) in Sep 2015
Interview
Came through a recruiter, met simultaneously with the VP of Sales and the CFO. They're a family business, and the VP of Sales is a family member. Her questions were generally pretty low-level SFDC questions, and didn't really get at the heart of my knowledge and experience. She kept asking how I'd handle a Lead vs. a Contact, and I explained that the answer really depended on her business. CFO sat there awkwardly throughout and added nothing to the experience. I was told they weren't interested in me because I wasn't certified, which was absolutely a cover for something else about me they didn't like. I generally didn't get a good vibe from the VP of Sales. Otherwise their office was nice, although in your standard Waltham/128 office park devoid of character.

Interview
The person doing the phone interview asked normal question about myself. Nothing very technical. The interview was very pleasant, the HR was very clear in her way of communicating. I just recently did the phone interview so I am still waiting for the interview process to continue on.
