They moved pretty quickly initially and laid out the interview process in detail, which I found refreshingly transparent. I did an initial interview, a project, then met several more teams. Alas, their communication and followup dropped off (initially, the coordinator explained that they were reviewing the role and would extend the timeline a week or two...I followed up regularly and was always promised an update "by the end of the week), and I was ghosted. I was very excited about the role and org and connected well with the interviewers so it's disheartening that they engaged with candidates like this. In fact, an interview with the founder was "rescheduled" the day of, only to never materialize. I suspect they are internally disorganized leading to this sort of chaotic process, but I do think all employers have a responsibility to be kind and communicative given candidates put so much time, effort and energy dedicated to the role and org. Please do better.
