Random resume drop to a posting online. Received a call from HR a couple weeks later to gauge my interest in the position, and set up another phone interview with HR for the following week. Spoke for about 20-30 minutes on the phone, no real head-scratcher questions. At conclusion of call, they said they'd be in touch if an in-person interview would be scheduled. Heard back for an in person interview about a week or two later. Interviewed in person with 4-5 members of the office individually. Again, not really grilling me, but just learning about my background and what I was in it for. Everyone was pleasant. Offered me the position about 2-3 weeks later. I accepted within days, and I started about a month after that. From resume drop to start date, the whole process was about 3 months.

Question 1
What situations do you feel most comfortable in?
This sounds super straightforward, but for some reason I was a bit stumped. It was not asked to trick me, just a simple question, and I had to think for a minute. It got me thinking deeper after the interview and why that question struck me awkwardly. Other than that, the interview was quite smooth, and I had a good mix of personal conversation, and conversation about ERM and my background.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at ERM in Aug 2024
Interview
Two rounds of interviews. One behavioral with an HR representative and another technical with partners and senior staff. My interview also included a brief quiz testing my chemical knowledge but that may have been the hiring manager's specific preference.

Question 1
Picked out a piece of experience on my resume and asked what I learned from it.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ERM (East Hartford, CT) in Feb 2019
Interview
I applied for the position, then around a week later, I got a request to do a video interview online. It is a very awkward process of recording yourself answering questions. There is a written portion first, then the video portion. I recorded the interview on a Saturday, then received an in-person interview request for that Thursday. The in-person interview went well, there were your typical experience questions, but they also let you show your personality. I feel like they were seeing if I was a technical and culture fit for the office. The next day, I recieved a verbal offer, and the following Monday or Tuesday I recieved the written offer.
Got a request for an automated online interview completed during a certain time frame, then got a request for an in person interview which included a test, then received a job offer
