First you send the CV, then you have a seminar with the group where you will be working. afterwards a private interview with the beamline scientist and group head. a meeting with the HR follows, but it's mostly to explain the contract and similar. to be noted, I had the interview in covid time, so via zoom

nothing particular, scientific questions about your work and how you could develop at esrf. HR meeting was only to explain the conditions at esrf
I communicated mainly with the HR and the beamline sciantist seemed to be annoyed by having to be there. Everything was very formal and the decision took them more than a month, but then they wanted decision within two days
