Interview
It was over the phone. It lasted for 15 minutes. The Professor and another Professor took my interview. They asked about my background and how do I find their research. It was just a casual interaction. Professor did not prefer a Skype interview.

Depends on if supervisor is recruiting students. If they are not, you have no choice other than to find a different first supervisor, and persuade them to be your second supervisor.
