As Easysize is a remote first company all the interviews were online. I was invited to a scheduled zoom interview with the team leader, then a week or so later a scheduled zoom interview with the CEO and she wanted me to meet with the CTO and lastly I received an offer on email very soon after that.
I was kept in contact throughout the entire process & it was overall very stress free.
The interview style is very relaxed with no silly corporate questions which is a reflection of the company culture.
The interview timeline was acceptable & the offer very competitive.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Interview questions that were asked were pertaining to my experience & background, questions pertaining to the position as well as relevant case scenarios & how I would handle them. Questions on different software & ability to work remotely. Most important of them all is the understanding of self ownership, meaning it is up to you alone to complete your tasks and no one is chasing you up & checking on you.
The most memorable question was from the CTO who asked me straight 'can I do the job?' which I answered '100%' & he said 'great, when can you start'. I believe that defines the overall culture of the company. If you say you can do something then the ball is in your court now.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Easysize.me (Tbilisi) in Mar 2022
Interview
There were 3 stages, the first interview was with Product Manager (as he was looking for a researcher for his team), the second with CEO (culture fit interview) and the third one with Customer Success Lead (as we would work in close collaboration).
The process was very smooth, I was informed about results on time and got an offer very quickly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most interesting one: What thing from your academic experience was useful for application in business experience? (rephrased)
The interview steps were very interesting. Every thing was very clear, feedback was on the spot. The interview process was more of a discussion where I can freely talk about all my experiences, it feels as if I share my experiences than being interviewed.
