I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Elchemy (Andheri East) in Oct 2024
Interview
I had two rounds of interview. First one was taken online and was basically an introduction and understanding my professional journey.
Second round was taken in person with the founders and a long detailed discussion on business development. The overall process and office vibe was good and went smooth.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Elchemy (Mumbai) in Jan 2023
Interview
As someone who has gone through the job interview process myself, I can empathize with how frustrating and demoralizing it can be to invest so much time and effort into a company's hiring process, only to be rejected after multiple rounds of interviews. When a company takes three months and subjects a candidate to seven rounds of interviews along with coding assignments, it's not just a waste of time and resources - it's a serious blow to the candidate's confidence and sense of self-worth. The fact that this company was unable to make a final decision after all of that speaks volumes about their indecisiveness and lack of direction. As someone who values efficiency and transparency in the workplace, I find this company's hiring practices to be deeply concerning. It's not just that they wasted my time and energy - it's that they seem to lack a basic understanding of how to run an effective hiring process. If they can't even make a decision about a single job candidate, how can I trust them to make important decisions that impact the company as a whole? In short, I would strongly caution anyone against considering this company as a potential employer. Their hiring practices are unprofessional, disrespectful, and suggest deeper issues within the organization. As someone who has been through the process, I know firsthand how important it is to feel valued and respected as a candidate - and this company simply doesn't deliver on that front.
