I spoke over the phone for about an hour with the HR representative who originally reached out to me over email. She was very interested and set up another phone call with the hiring manager 3 days later. I spoke with him for over an hour, and was told he'd be "very happy" to set up the next call with his boss, and instructed me to follow up with him and the original HR person to schedule the call. I never heard back from either of them, even after an email follow up. Not sure why they couldn't at least let me know they moved on, especially since next steps were clearly discussed.
