      National Account Manager Interview

      Mar 12, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Cartersville, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Engine (Cartersville, GA) in Mar 2023

      Interview

Let me tell you this! That was the worst interview I ever had. The reception was terrible. The interviewer was lack of patience and he raised his voice because I couldn't hear him. It looked like he was not enjoying his job at all and was very tired. From the conversation, I could hear the toxic environment talk for itself. When someone is yelling at you when you can't hear them or when you struggle to understand their accent or language barriers it is a feeling of embarrassment! At the end of the interview, I felt one thing, embarrassed! But not for me, for the company with an "excellent recruiter." You are here to sell the job to me as I am here to sell myself to you. Remember that! The recruiter is your brand manager, as I am branding myself. So, optimize your relationship before you reach out. That is my advice! The moment the interview was over I knew no matter what will be the next step, there is no progress for me. I will never apply to this company again. I know I am too good to be true! P.S.- Let Joe he needs to work on his attitude, and doing his job.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Engine

      Interview

First interaction was a phone screening from the recruiter. Followed by 3 interviews with executives, set up was smooth. It was about a month total. My last interview was a bit awkward. He would ask me a question, mute himself and talk to someone else in the room while I was answering his question! He was looking to the left side while I spoke. I understand working remote and having children or pets, but please give candidates respect. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire interview. Then the last 10 minutes he wanted me to ask him questions. I had several and he couldn't answer any as "he wasn't the best to ask". I put a lot of preparation and time into my interview process and it went well until the last one.
