I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Enverus (Austin, TX) in Jan 2025
Interview
1st - quick 30 minute phone interview / screening with recruiter
2nd - 45 minute Zoom interview with two team members
3rd - 45 minute Zoom interview with manager and right hand person
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The recruiter asked for specific experience training SaaS focused (ie: technical) employees, which is of course quite reasonable.
The question that stumped me came from the manager, who gave me a broad scenario and asked how I'd respond. Specifically, if approached by a leader seeking training for their team - how would I approach it start to finish.
Fine, but not impressed with leadership in Enablement... all of my interviews I had allowed me very little time to ask questions, and I was definitely not impressed with the final interview/project. This process was not well organized and the stakeholders that joined the interview seemed unprepared and not knowing what they were walking into. SVP was cocky and rude, which was a big red flag. Enablement Team and Sales Leadership seem to be disjointed and not clear on their working relationship.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
SVP asked my how I would handle salespeople not tuning in or participating in training sessions. What he said was "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth... how would I handle this?" Laughable and very unprofessional, but par for the course for someone like him.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Enverus (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2021
Interview
I have to give a Shout Out to the Sales Success Team and their excellent interview process. While I took myself out of the process for personal reasons not having anything to do with Enverus I was extremely impressed with every conversation I had with members of the Sales Success team as well as the sales leaders I engaged with
