So after many years of applying, I finally got an email followed by a call from a recruiter based in EU and we had a quick chat and an interview was promptly scheduled a week later. Locating the office was quite a pain and spent quite a lot on cab fares and finally made it. During interviews they asking me about my capability in dealing with situational problem solving including office politics and maintaining peer relationships. Some core technical questions also followed. The interview lasted about 45mins and I was escorted to handover my access card, went back to my hotel. Then, I didn't hear about them for about two weeks, during which I decided to ping my recruiter, who promised to get back the week after. Further, two weeks elapsed and no feedback and I decided to ping back again but the recruiter insisted to having to call me but I refused. Then again I followed up, during which the recruiter sent an email, that they have hired someone and I thanked them for keeping me in the dark for over a month.
