I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors in Apr 2011
Interview
I applied online and was called to set up an interview the next week. The interview process was very straight forward. I was asked to go into a room where a lady met with me asked about my qualifications and why I would be a good fit. the interview lasted about 30 minutes and she offered me something on the spot. As an intern I handled all interview candidates from interns to advisers setting up appointments etc.

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (San Francisco, CA) in May 2024
Interview
It was not terribly difficult, but it does requires a good work ethic as well as you need to show that you can make a positive impact and contribute to the good atmosphere. Overall a great experience.

The interview was a phone call and was very casual. I asked most of the questions while the person just answered the questions. He said they didn't hire that many interns.
