I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Charlotte, NC) in Apr 2018
Interview
2 interviews with district manager, one with executive Vice President- big detail on why you are choosing this career path, what motivates you to want to be an advisor. Really asking why you want to help people with their financial goals.
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Interview
Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
