I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (San Antonio, TX) in Jun 2024
Interview
First interview was a 15 minute phone call with one of the advisors and the second was an in person interview lasting an hour. I have yet to hear back from them regarding a final interview, but it should also be in person and with their director.

Question 1
They asked me a lot of information about myself, including where I saw myself in five years, which of their core values I resonated with the most, and what I was hoping for in a career.
I received an email from the recruiting division and scheduled an interview with HR. The initial call was straightforward; she asked typical behavioral questions, such as why I wanted to work at Equitable and how my values aligned with the firm. The call was positive and lasted about 20 minutes.
I then had a second-round interview with a VP. After I introduced myself, he informed me that they were not currently hiring foreign nationals, as I am on an OPT work visa. It was a disappointing end to the process, but the interviewers were professional throughout.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Fort Worth, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
Very smooth interview process. 3 separate interviews with different managers. They walk you through the various stages such as PEP and the studying process for different licenses needed for the role. They are very transparent and tell you exactly how development takes place in this role. Very self-starter oriented. Compensation is built on the fact that you control your business and your experience is what you make of it. If you are entrepreneurial this is a great job to start in because the interview process is more information based then grilling you with questions.

Why financial advising? What makes this role a good fit? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What will you bring to the table as an advisor here?
