Interview
The hiring process is simple. If you are an average typer (40 wpm). Know how to read and write English, as well as basic computer skills. The place I work they drug test on the spot, so do not go if you have done anything within 90 days. I went through a interview that was quick and I was hired and started orientation the same day. Then that following Monday I started training.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Etech (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2017
Interview
Saw a job posting in a Facebook group stating they were accepting walk-ins. When I got there I was greeted by the receptionist, she called a recruiter to the front to come get me. The recruiter took me back to the HR office where there were several other applicants waiting. The head HR person asked me a couple of questions about background and schedule. She asked if I wanted to work the AM or PM shift. Then I took a typing test which you had to get at least 45 words per minute. Then an essay test. Then a computer navigation test. All of the tests were easy to pass. Once that was done I was given a cup to take a urine drug test. After that I-9 paperwork was done and I was given a start date.
