Ethisphere interviews FAQs
Glassdoor users rated their interview experience at Ethisphere as 33.3% positive with a difficulty rating score of 3 out of 5 (where 5 is the highest level of difficulty). Candidates interviewing for Sales Associate and Event Marketing Manager rated their interviews as the hardest, whereas interviews for Sales Associate and Event Marketing Manager roles were rated as the easiest.
I interviewed for the Event Marketing Manager position and completed two rounds of interviews, including an initial video screening and a subsequent interview with the hiring manager. The interviewers were professional, and the conversations themselves were positive.
Unfortunately, after completing the interview process, I never received any communication regarding the outcome of my candidacy. No rejection email, status update, or follow-up was provided.
I understand that companies may move forward with other candidates, but after multiple interview rounds, candidates deserve closure and basic communication. A simple update would have demonstrated respect for the time and effort invested in the process.
Given the company’s focus on ethics, workplace culture, and organizational best practices, I found the lack of follow-up particularly disappointing.

Question 1
Walk me through your experience planning and executing events from start to finish.
Thank you for sharing this. After two rounds of interviews, you deserved a clear, timely response, and I'm sorry that didn't happen. We send notifications to all candidates, but clearly something fell through here, and that's on us. Feedback like this is how we hold ourselves accountable, and we're actively working to make sure every candidate leaves the process feeling respected, regardless of outcome. We appreciate you raising it, especially given what we stand for as a company.

Interview
We met virtually for 30 minutes, with plenty of time for questions at the end. My interviewer was friendly and we had a good conversation. Some of the things I was asked about were why I'm interested in this role/Ethisphere, a project I'm currently working on, a time I overcame a roadblock, and what I think makes a good team.

Interview
Had high hopes for this company considering their business model (ethics) was their main focus. Unfortunately, I was the one having to do the reach out. They never informed me about next steps and communication was very weak. I set aside time to meet with the hiring manager and did two interviews before never hearing back about next steps. I've never been through an interview process past a couple interviews and simply not heard back one way or the other. As a potential candidate, this was a frustrating experience and waste of time. Hopefully they do better.
