The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ethos Life (New York, NY)
Interview
HR was decent, the process took 2-3 weeks
Went to their SF office for 3 technical and 1 ceo face to face interview. Early stage company so a little disorganized. Everything was fine, until the Indian CTO walked in. He had a question in hand and the only hint he gave was....think simpler. Guys I'm an Indian too and let me tell you I my pants too when an Indian walks in to interview me. I actually knew the question from LC before and just wanted to test him, cuz honestly why not! I gave some weird optimized theories, which actually worked but were not the solution he had in mind. So, "think simpler" 🤣
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Ethos Life (Bangalore Rural) in Oct 2025
Interview
First I received online Assessment link. I got shortlisted for the interview. Interview was pretty simple 1 DSA round and 1 LLD round. OA was pretty tough though. OA was 90 minutes and had 3 questions 2 DSA graph and Tree based questions and 1 Backend problem. Interviewer was more concerned about my approach to problem rather than actual solution. LLD round was taken by Senior Manager and he was quite helpful.
I applied through an online job board and received an interview invitation a week and a half later. I did not make it past the initial 30-minute phone screen with HR but there would have been two more rounds, a virtual technical round, and another behavioral round.
