    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at European Investment Bank (Luxembourg (Luxembourg)) in November 2014.

    Interview

Before being invited for interview, there were a couple of on-line verbal reasoning and personality tests which were done at home.

On the basis of these tests, the applicant is invited (or not) for interview.

The first part of the interview was a written test, effectively aimed at determining how the applicant can work under pressure, and how much they know about the subject area.

Another verbal reasoning test (on a computer) was also undertaken.

In all, the pre-interview work took two hours.

After this, there was a panel interview, who asked questions about the preceding test, and also on the CV.

    Interview

It was a regular interview; they seemed very friendly people.
However, I did not accept the position (intern) because the salary is really low compared to other EU institutions (plus the life in Luxembourg is really expensive).... why don't the EIB raises the intern salary according to living standards and to the salary paid by other EU institutions?
Please, if someone from the EIB reads this, try to change it ASAP; I (as many other people) have applied for other positions as interns and are sort of "waiting" to see this changes... I would love to work there but don't wanna say no again...

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at European Investment Bank.

    Interview

I had an interview with two employees (The head of the unit and a officer) from EIB for a intern position. Both were extremely formal and the entire process was a bit akward with some silent moments. They seemed quite bored but I think it was because they have been conducting interviews the entire week. They started out giving an overview of the job description, then proceeded to asking questions and afterwards I was allowed to ask questions. The entire interview took 30 min.
