After being frustrated with their interview process, I finally mailed the HR that I've accepted an offer elsewhere!
Although.the detailed reviews mentioned on Glassdoor are enough to judge the reputation of this company, I'm still writing my experience with them.
On a casual Monday afternoon, I was approached by HR of this company, as I was looking out for a UI developer job. On the call, we decided to have the first round of interview the next day. The HR mailed me the confirmation of the scheduled interview and the time given was 5:00 PM. On the next day, I sidelined all of my work for the interview and waited for a call at 5:00PM. I waited for 45 mins with my phone in-hand but the there was no call whatsoever.
I called the HR around 6:00PM regarding this and she said that she'll talk with the interviewer and inform me.
She called me after some time and asked me if she can schedule the interview tomorrow in between 3:00 and 4:00 PM which meant the interviewer can call anytime between 3 and 4 and I need to be available whenever the phone rings. Reluctantly, I accepted her timings.
On the next day, I was waiting with my phone in-hand again hoping for a call. Even after waiting for an hour, the call never came!! I called the HR, being frustrated. She said she'll let me know about what happened.
After 1-2 hrs, I called her again because she didn't call me back as she promised. On the call, she confirmed that the interview would be taken on Monday(next week) - this was decided by the XYZ technical interview guy who was supposed to take the interview and not HR.
On Monday, I got a call from the HR asking me if I'm available for the interview on Tuesday!! This was final nail in the coffin which was just unacceptable and an extremely unprofessional behaviour from the company!!
Needless to say, I never interviewed at their company and would also not encourage my circle to apply for any position at Evolution Co.
To company heads: Go through the reviews and you'll understand what people are facing while working at your company.
