Sent a customized resume, had a phone screen, and then a panel interview. In the phone screen I asked the question I always ask any company I interview with which is, "If at any point a candidate is not selected for the next step in your interview process, do you let them know?" There is a real lack of professionalism in HR people that they don't treat people well who took the time to apply and interview and might have other companies interested in you, so it's important they communicate. This company did not. After investing time in multiple interviews, I heard nothing back. I wrote to the person who did the phone screen and did NOT get the courtesy of a reply. After more days had passed, I reached out again to that person, and only because I wasted time asking twice did I get the answer that I was not selected. An answer that could have been written and sent in a whole 30 seconds, so there is no excuse for that. So I am writing this to tell other candidates don't waste your time with an org that treats people like this.
