I was surprised that the call was with a Temp Sales Consultant rather than an actual Recruiter from the People Ops team. The Sales Temp, Maggie had no clue what questions to ask and seemed frazzled. She admitted that she didn't know what a PEO was but knew they wanted the experience for the role. I asked Maggie about what systems they're using - she said "I have no clue, I'm just a contractor working sales". I asked her what do they provide corporate employees to keep them engaged, she replied "Idk I haven't even decided if I want to work with them FT. They're giving me till next week but I really just want a good fit for me, you know". It was clear that Maggie was unprofessional and ill prepared. It felt like she didn't respect my time or the process. I don't believe she is capable of properly vetting HR professionals and it's disappointing that Expressable doesn't care about candidate experience.
