They scheduled an interview with me, I agreed to a time, and then they simply didn't show up. They first blamed me, then realized it was an issue on their end. They then rescheduled and didn't show to the call again
- N/A, they didn't even reach out to me

HR call with format questions, and unable to answer any questions about the team and position. Hiring manager online meeting was strange as well. It was a one-way communication. They just ask whatever they want to know but didn't want to have conversation with you or know you.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Kraków
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at FLYR (Kraków) in Dec 2023
Started the Journey of the recruitment process in November and got a recruiter's mail in December. Subsequent to that, I was given the opportunity to meet the hiring manager but prior I had made some inquiries about the company's recruitment process and I saw a lot of negative and bad comments about the company's recruitment process which initially put me off. I had successful interview sessions with the hiring manager which earned me the opportunity to proceed to the technical stage. The hiring manager gave me the opportunity to talk about myself and he asked few questions SQL basics Apparently, I had a very smooth and great interview with the technical interviewer too who attested to my performance by saying and I quote that I was an ideal candidate for the position to him. He gave me 3 SQL tasks to solve, asked me some basic questions on python, data pipeline, data analysis, kpis and other. Few weeks later, I got a call from the HR acknowledging that the technical interview was positive and the company needs more time to make further decisions on other recruitment processes and she asked me whether I was involved in another recruitment process so that I could go for those recruitment processes whenever I felt delayed by the company's schedule which I told her that I was not involved in another recruitment process and I would be willing to wait till the company finalize their processes. Literally, my action was instigated by my passion, interest and love for the company and job role and my great experience with the interviewers during the recruitment process. Still surprised and shocked about the compromise in the decision. I got a call from the same HR that the company selected another candidate with better SQL skill. That got confused me confused, the same SQL that I solved perfectly or which other SQL. Though, I am no surprised about the act of biase, misplaced priority, lack of transparency, and misinformation as previous reviews about the company were mostly negative but I have to call the company out. Putting candidate in this messy situation is unfair and they should try to review their recruitment processes.

Had one call with a recruiter, and one interview with two engineers. Everyone seemed to be nice, and I got along pretty well with everyone I talked to. Unfortunately, I got strung along for over a month, before they rejected me.
- How would you implement a bag of m&m's?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Amsterdam
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FLYR (Amsterdam) in Dec 2022
The beginning of the process was quite fast, the recruiter got in touch a week after I applied. There were: HR interview, HM interview, coding&ML interview, ML&stats discussion, and another HM interview. The interviews did not go not very deep into ML or code topics, but had rather broad variety questions and LC easy-to-medium coding challenge. While all the technical rounds passed quite quickly within two weeks, after those I was put in complete darkness, with recruiter telling to wait without giving any rationale. I had to wait for more than a month before hearing the final decision. Which was: the interviews went very good, but they decided to promote internal candidate. That leaves quite a bitter feeling, especially after waiting for so long without information.
- Various ML/stats questions on topics which I mentioned that I have expertise in Tell about a project you worked on before Have you worked with deep neural networks? Tell about it

They reached out to me and after a bit of back and forth via email, they scheduled an interview and never showed up. No follow up, no email to state they were running late. I moved on, then they reached out again a month later not acknowledging what happened and tried to schedule another interview. I said no thanks.
- I would avoid this place. First impressions are everything and reading through other peoples similar experiences if this is how they treat the people they are trying to impress and get to work there, hard pass.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Amsterdam
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at FLYR (Amsterdam) in Dec 2022
I applied online through the company website. I was quickly contacted to have an interview with hiring manager. Then I was given a take-home technical challenge based on real-life examples of what I might be looking for in day-to-day. Based on my experience with the domain the scenarios were quite realistic. Following step was a technical interview with two members of the team I would be joining or analogous in different locale. The tasks built upon the take-home assessment scenarios and included some questions to test domain knowledge. I waited for about further two weeks to hear feedback. Unfortunately it was negative, the reasoning was in my opinion incorrectly aimed (too much focus on familiarity with a given flavor of SQL) but within the given framework, fair and solidly argued. If we ended here, I would rate my overall experience as positive, however I was very much soured by what followed immediately. Just... don't promise future opportunities in a position "that better fits my profile" that is never actually coming, OK? I'm a big boy, I can agree to split peacefully. I don't appreciate empty promises though. Thumbs down for that.

Given tables with information about individual flights, built an "arrival board" for a given airport. Build a list of connections between city pairs. Interviews are pretty easy. A total of 5 rounds - 1 recruiter screen, 1 hiring manager screen, and 3 technical interviews. Skills in SQL, python programming, and solving a real-world data science problem are tested.
