I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel in Dec 2019
Interview
Was a lengthy process, but thorough. Took long because of holiday season and also because was about 8 different phone calls along with a presentation. Was good to be able to meet and speak with everyone on the team.

Question 1
What do you like that we do now to bring new customers to our app?
Laid back, rather straight forward questions. Some small talk around the product while others were theoretical situations to which what your solution would be. Nice enough guys to talk to in the group stage.

Question 1
What could be a competitive advantage for the sports book?
I applied online. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY) in Oct 2020
Interview
The WORST and most intrusive interview process I have ever experienced. First, a recruiting coordinator reached out to schedule a time for a phone screen. However, the screen is not with the recruiter so I was blindsided to learn I was speaking with a manager. Next, the manager confirmed upfront that I was a great fit for the role but he wasn’t aware of any next steps and asked that I wait to be contacted.
I was contacted about a week later by a new recruiter who sent me a presentation brief. I was instructed to present a review of a new customers first touch points. Come to find out this is a free consultation strategy by the marketing team... the panel drilled me with questions to squeeze new ideas, strategies, and techniques out while frantically taking notes, but not touching on my personal experience whatsoever.
They also mentioned they had no idea of what next steps would be, but said they had “loads” more interviews to conduct. It is now one month later, 2 follow up emails to the second recruiter, and 1 follow up with the recruiting coordinator and I have officially been ghosted. This is an extremely unprofessional company who is visibly stressing about performing against competitors and desperate for new ideas. I was unbelievably excited about this opportunity, but it’s safe to say I have dodged a bullet. Don’t waste your time.
