The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY).

    Interview

Contacted by a recruiter. Given a take home assignment. Sent it in and then was told they would reach out. No rejection email or anything just ghosted. Should have seen the warning signs in all of their recent interview reviews.

The Interview Process was very thorough and well planned out. Average interview questions such as "Why FanDuel?", "Tell us about yourself." Overall an enjoyable process and would definitely recommend to anyone.

    Interview

I applied to this position around the end of June and was sent a take home test as a prescreener. I completed it on time and sent it back. Never heard back from them. Followed up a few times and they completely ghosted me. Quite unfortunate as I spent several hours on it and felt that my work was acceptable. If they didn't think so, would have been nice to let me know that they are moving forward without me, along with some feedback. But I received nothing.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY) in August 2020.

    Interview

So I received an email from the recruiter asking for my availability. A phone screen was set up for the following week. Everything seemed to go well and he gave a thorough description of the company and responsibilities of the role. He advised he was going to send me an email for my availability as he wanted to connect me with the hiring manager. NEVER heard anything back after that and that type of unprofessional behavior leaves a horrible taste in my mouth so I wasn't inclined to reach out and beg them for an interview after they went silent. I had read the reviews on Glassdoor prior to speaking to the recruiter and can 100% say ghosting is the norm with this company. I couldn't imagine working for a company like this.

    Interview

Apply online and get an automated schedule interview email from a recruiter a few days later. Use the link to submit my availability. No word for a week. Then one morning I get a call from the hiring manager. It seems the recruiter picked a time but never actually informed me on the time. So as unprepared as anyone would be I stumbled through some of his questions.

The hiring manager seemed nice and patient but clearly was ready to end the call. I only realize the schedule details were sent to me post-interview. When I confronted the recruiter - radio silence. Clearly lacked any interest or effort to apologize when pressed. Says a lot about a company when an HR rep can't fulfill the basic duties of his job.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY) in July 2020.

    Interview

Applied online, got an email from the recruiter to specify what time I'd be available for an interview. I wrote in my times, and emailed a question to the recruiter but never got a response. The interview was a technical screening over Zoom on coderpad - 5 minute pleasantries and then straight to the technical part. The interviewer was nice and collaborative. I sent a follow up email to the recruiter who initially contacted me to ask when I can expect a follow up, and again I did not get a reply. Got a rejection email 13 days after the interview.

    Interview

Contacted the recruiter about an open role. Had a series of one on one interviews. All seemed to go well and the recruiter emailed that he would schedule me with a talk with the director. Haven't heard anything since despite my efforts to reach out.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY) in June 2020.

    Interview

I applied to the Retention Marketing Manager position in June and was quickly asked to complete a phone screening. Once passed, I had a zoom interview with the hiring manager. I was told that feedback was great and was asked to prepare a 20 minute presentation for an hour long meeting, of which 40mins would be Q&A. Soon after sending over my presentation, I was told the hiring manager wanted to see more on the slides. When I replied that that is not my style of presenting, I was told that it was fine and they would just take the presentation "as it." Weeks have gone by, I have reached out numerous times, and still no time has been set for the presentation to be conducted.

Sounds like free consulting doesn't it?

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at FanDuel (New York, NY) in May 2020.

    Interview

Contacted by recruiter, had initial conversation with engineer. Then sent a take home project which was about making a small iOS application, took several hours of work to finish and sent back. Never heard back from recruiter. This practice needs to stop, if you are going to make people interviewing for your company waste hours of their already busy day, they should at least be given the courtesy of a follow up email. I recommend no one apply here unless you like having your valuable time wasted.

    Interview

Initial screening was simple, and then got sent a take-home challenge consisting of three parts. Their time estimate was grossly underestimated along with the fact that all their documentation and input files were word documents. Some of the input files were also improperly formatted JSON, so on top of having to extract everything from microsoft word files into raw text files, I also had to write a program to fix the formatting on these files. After this the actual work took all weekend.

After submitting, they confirmed they received it and would get back to me in 2-3 days. I was ghosted, and even sent a follow up email to them asking if they had looked at my work. The recruiter replied "should be any day now!" and was simply ghosted again.
