I was invited to interview following my application and was asked to share my availability for that week, which I responded to the same day. After hearing nothing for seven days, I eventually received an apology and a new interview time was arranged another week later.
Unfortunately, five minutes before the scheduled meeting, the interview was cancelled without any email, phone call or explanation. I followed up two days later to understand what had happened and did not receive a response.
Disappointing experience overall. Having worked in similar roles across growing start-ups, I also see the interview process as an opportunity to assess a company’s communication, organisation and respect for candidates’ time. In this case, the experience suggested it may not have been the right fit after all.
WASTE OF TIME PLEASE AVIOD!
Reached out by a talent acquisition person, did an initial screening then booked in the first stage interview on the call. Got the impression that they are moving quickly.
The first stage interview was with their head of AI, some questions he asked was interesting and I got a positive vibe from it.
And then they completely ghosted me, I sent several emails to chase up 1 week after the interview and got nothing back. Now it has been a month and still nothing from them.
You need to respect people and their time, treat them like a human rather than disposable resource, most of the company I applied for have the decency to at least send a rejection letter but what I experienced from Fanvue is the new low.
Don’t waste your time with them.

The hiring process had 2 stages, First, technical + background with the department Head, and HR, about how'd you approach certain situations. The second interview was more a cultural fit with the team.
