Zoom interview with the CRO and CIO. I met with the CEO and CRO approximately two weeks later. About three weeks later, I met with the CRO and CHRO. At that time, they asked if I would come on site for a visit. I agreed and took a day and a half of personal time for the trip. Farmers paid for the flight/hotel/car rental. I met again with the CRO, CIO, CHRO, and CEO. During lunch, I let them know I had an offer on the table and I needed to let the other organization know one way or the other. They requested that I delay the other offer until they meet again the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. In the meantime, I received two other offers. I waited until Friday of that week to accept another offer, never getting any updates from Farmers. I contacted the hiring manager the following Tuesday to withdraw my application if it was still in consideration. He indicated that they still had not made a final decision. The job as presented was interesting and challenging. The hiring manager (CRO) seemed the type to allow you the autonomy to do the job. One person was hung up on the different way that I pronounce a security term, but other than that, the group seemed friendly. Unfortunately, the lack of communication was very off-putting.
