I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Federated Insurance in Apr 2018
Interview
It was a VERY long interview process. It was roughly 4 months for me which included them requesting I get my insurances licenses (which I did). They had me bring my spouse to 3 interviews. 1 local, 1 driving distance, and 1 required a flight. The hiring manager was great and I always felt very supported by him. The other interviewers were abrasive and frankly rude about some things. After the final interview I was told they were not extending an offer and they couldn’t tell me why

I interviewed at Federated Insurance (Owatonna, MN)
Interview
Great company and great interview. They have everything planned out and they do not skip any steps in the interview process. They were all very nice and professional and I would recommend this company.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Federated Insurance (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2024
Interview
Lengthy conversations about life style, upbringing, work ethic, leadership and competitiveness. I am still currently going through the interview process but this has been the basis of most of the questioning so far. They were very open about everything so far and gave me plenty of time to ask questions myself.
I interviewed at Federated Insurance (Kansas City, MO)
Interview
Long process that is very in-depth. Will want to meet spouse or parents. 6 month process that is 4-5 interviews. They will want to know multiple references and they will want you to get licensed before hire.
