Very disappointing interview experience with Fellow.
The recruiter no-showed the interview without notice, and I had to personally follow up just to get it rescheduled. After the follow-up interview, I was told I’d hear back, but received no communication whatsoever.
For a company that positions itself as professional and people-focused, the process felt disorganized and disrespectful of candidates’ time. It left a really poor impression, and I would not apply again.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Fellow in Mar 2026
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me and scheduled an interview with the Sales Director. The conversation mainly consisted of a series of pre-written questions, which made the interaction feel more like verbally filling out a form than having a real discussion.
Within the first couple of minutes, I had the impression that the management style and mindset wouldn’t be a good fit for me. The tone felt very scripted and heavily influenced by the kind of generic sales advice you often see circulating on LinkedIn or in popular self-development content.
Overall, the interaction gave me the sense that the culture might be more focused on buzzwords than on authentic business conversations.

Interview
Pretty standard startup process, faster than big companies but higher bar. Requires a solid foundation and in depth knowledge of one of the techs that are bing used.
Technical round is a leetcode-like but not really question, looks like they care about the thought process and communication skills In addition to a good answer.
