Ferguson Construction (OH) interview questions

Applied and got a phone interview within a week. I will have my phone interview this week and then hope to have a in person interview. I am hopeful about this process and getting this job.

From the start, the interview process was quite unprofessional. The interviewer showed up almost ten minutes late with no apology or response to my email. The first question I was asked was when I graduated college. With this being an HR role, I was shocked that the interviewer would blatantly violate the ADEA. Not many other questions were asked, and I was left feeling like I knew nothing about the role. At the end of the interview, I was asked my salary expectations. Upon stating them, I was told that it was no issue. Within an hour of the interview, I got a call from the same person stating my salary expectations were too high. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to build a good reputation in Human Resources.
