I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ferrara Candy Company in Apr 2021
Interview
Really bizarre, adversarial and unprofessional interview process. Applied for a role online, and was contacted for a phone interview, with multiple days between email responses trying to arrange a time (after agreeing on a time, and the recruiter canceling the afternoon before).
At the start of the call, the recruiter asked where I was located (which was clearly visible on my resume) and said that no relocation assistance would be offered for the position for candidates outside of Chicago. Don't know why this wasn't listed on the job description, or why you're interviewing candidates outside of Chicago then. The recruiter then started a game of 20 questions about why I left a previous employer and why I wanted to leave my current employer. She then went on to explain that there would be multiple assessments after several more rounds of interviews. Not sure why this isn't the first step like it is at companies desirable enough to work at to warrant taking an assessment (P&G).
I was contacted several weeks later about having another interview with the hiring manager, but the interview with the recruiter was enough to tell me to steer clear of this company.

Question 1
Why did you leave this job? Could you explain more about why you left this job? Why do you want to leave your current job?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ferrara Candy Company (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2018
Interview
I did a phone screen with a recruiter, then a phone screen with the hiring manager, then 3 in person interviews (all over the course of one day). I heard back about two weeks later.
