Its a very weird interview process where you try to impress a lifeless computer screen. Rest is just as others have described it. Very easy couple of question in C++ on hackerank that would take any one less than 40 minutes to solve and then a very weird live wire interview. Then an automated rejection mail with no given reason. Felt like technical ability is not important to clear the process but more of a corporate personality is required
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

Why fidessa, what language you prefer, what can you give us
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidessa (New York, NY) in Jul 2022
Interview
Easy C++ test then a 1:1 zoom call with one of the managers (Doug). He was super disrespectful and arrogant, questioning the technical parts of my previous job as if he knew better. Got ghosted by the company after.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fidessa (Jersey City, NJ) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process includes the online coding section and the phone interview process. The phone interview is mainly about the algorithm with Leetcode easy level questions. The questions are required written in C++.
The interviewer did not have communications.
Applied online, and then sent an OA, but I didn't pass. The OA is about two coding questions for 90 min. It was a positive experience that you know what you need to practice.
