I recently went through an initial screening interview for and overall, the process started positively but left me feeling disappointed by the lack of follow-through. The Interview: The interview was a standard HR screening held on a Tuesday. The recruiter was professional and polite, providing a clear overview of the company, its values, and the role I was being considered for. They asked common questions about my professional background, experience, and salary expectations. Communication Issues: The recruiter mentioned I would receive a decision by the end of the same week regarding whether I would move to the next stage. However, by Friday, I had not heard back. I sent a polite follow-up email the following Tuesday, but did not receive a response to that either. Overall Impression: While the interview itself was pleasant and professional, the lack of communication afterward was disappointing. Timely feedback is essential for candidates, especially when a specific timeframe is promised. I hope the company improves its follow-up process, as it would enhance the candidate experience significantly.
