1st interview was with recruiter. She was lovely and got to learn more about the company and role. 2nd interview was with a second recruiter were I got to speak more about my background and answer questions about my experience. 3rd interview was with the hiring manager where I answered more questions about my experience. I was told next steps would be interview with team and the HR VP. That’s where things went down hill. I was asked to do a second interview with the hiring manager. That would have made the totally number of interviews 6 for this role. I felt like my time wasn’t being respected and I asked more about the reason for having a second interview with the hiring manager. I got an email saying they were going with another candidate but after 4 rounds of interviews it felt so impersonal to not give a call or more than a generic email. Some feedback would have been fantastic. It was a relief when I got the decline email because it didn’t feel like a great use of my time and that showed me how they might be running their business.
