Very informal. He didn't ask many questions, was very easy. Was offered the job on the spot. Manager was nice but the store was a mess, like most retail places.
- When can you start working?

Anonymous Employee in Clemson, SC
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Five Below (Clemson, SC) in Nov 2023
It was short. Had to watch three short videos, then I was asked maybe 5-6 questions. They asked what days and hours I could work. I wasn’t told if I got the offer, but the manager told me that I was going on the floor and to pretend like I was a worker. So I had to greet 2-3 customers when they were walking in, I worked the register for both cash & card transactions. Shortly after that, she told me I got the job. She said they focus on the hands on part of the interview to see if you fit well for the position.
- they asked me to describe myself, told me to tell them a time when I did great customer service, a time when I handle a difficult situation, of course why I want to work there, what days and hours I could work.

The interview process was very quick and easy. It wasn’t bad at all. The interviewer was the manager of the store and she was super nice. Not a bad experience at all.
- What hours I could work.

Interview is with the store manager 1st. If they feel that you will be a good fit they will send you over to the district manager. Who will either give you a second interview or approve you being hired depending on what was discussed with General Manager
- When dealing with a task how do you handle time management

Meeting held at store. They tell you if they are interested right away. Easy onboarding. They went over the job expectations and it seems fairly easy. They talk a lot about team work and how everyone does everything equally.
- How can you demonstrate multitasking?

In a casual phone screening, you'll likely discuss your background, skills, and interest in the role. It's less formal but still a crucial step in the hiring process. Be yourself but remain professional

It is less of a sit down interview and more of a formal conversation, they explain your duties in the store, ask about you, questions like your favorite activities and what school you go to
- Would you consider yourself a social person

Very straightforward. Easy and quick. They will ask you why do you want to work for them. And what you have to offer if employed. How soon can you start. And will most likely conduct a background check
- Why do you want to work here?

Anonymous Employee in Fairfax, VA
I applied online. I interviewed at Five Below (Fairfax, VA) in Sep 2023
They didn't have an interview. They just hired me on the spot with no hesitation. The manager though... They weren't very kind personally speaking. I wish they had some kind of interview process surprisingly enough.

Anonymous Employee in Woodbridge, VA
I interviewed at Five Below (Woodbridge, VA)
Short, Sweet and very smooth. The interview was 30 minutes long, and was just a conversation, got asked 3 questions and was offered the job on the spot. It’s easy.
