1 phone interview with a recruiter, 2 video interviews with managers, 1 case study, then process stopped.
The process was very pleasant up until the case study. I was given an excel case that did not have any instructions and was extremely complicated. I explained the case to multiple professionals, including a Flexport employee, the overwhelming consense was this was the wrong case or that I was missing information. I reached out to the recruiter to question what I had been given, he confirmed that this was the correct case. But then he also said, do not make any assumptions. Understand there were zero instructions given, and this was basically an excel template with multiple tabs that would be sent directly to the customer for a bid, it is impossible to fill in a single cell without making an assumption or having experience. And this was a no freight shipping experience role. I felt confident in my submission based on what was provided to me.
No word from Flexport for 10 days, I then reached out but was told I was no longer being considered. I followed up asking if they could maybe send an example of what they were looking for or to at least confirm that no mistake had been made in the admission in the case, but never heard back.
