The initial screening and interview with the recruiter was fine, and even exciting. I should have known better once I was asked to submit a work sample as well as prepare a presentation. This level of time commitment should be compensated. This interview process, from initial screening, preparing a real work sample, and panel interviews took up hours of my time. The panel interviews were disappointing. They were not engaged, asked very basic questions and did not seem to want to be involved. Not to mention, two of the three interviewers were late. The feedback received was generic, that I didn’t provide specific enough examples.
